The Support Gunner class is responsible for laying down suppressive fire against the opposing team in order to clear the way for lighter classes, and to defend the Engineers. They are armed with a Machine Gun that must be deployed on a tripod, a Machine Pistol and melee weapons.

The Support Gunner is the heaviest class, having the most firepower and the most health. The Support Gunner has 220 health, and can overcharge to 290 health. However, his primary weapon cannot be fired on the move, and he is thus at a severe disadvantage. His Machine Gun must be deployed on a tripod on a flat surface to fire.
